Vercel Labs seeks a Staff Frontend Platform Architect to lead our real-time deployment topology console, build-log streaming viewer, and accessible component primitives used by millions of frontend engineers worldwide.
What You Will Build You will spearhead React Server Components adoption, eliminate main-thread scripting bottlenecks during high-frequency WebSocket log bursts, and maintain strict WCAG 2.1 AA keyboard navigation across complex data grids. You will also partner with compiler engineers to shrink client bundle payloads and accelerate Core Web Vitals interaction readiness.
Required Background Seven-plus years crafting mission-critical web applications with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS architecture. Mastery of browser performance profiling, flamegraph analysis, Web Workers, and incremental DOM reconciliation. Proven track record authoring shared UI libraries with automated visual regression suites.
