CortexWorks provides durable execution infrastructure for autonomous coding and data analysis agents. We are hiring a Senior AI Agent Runtime Engineer to build our fault-tolerant state machine orchestrator and ephemeral MicroVM tool sandboxes.
What You Will Own You will engineer our TypeScript/Node.js and Python SDKs, implement replayable execution checkpoints backed by PostgreSQL, and build Model Context Protocol (MCP) gateway routers with strict RBAC policy enforcement and token budget accounting.
Key Qualifications Five+ years shipping backend platforms in TypeScript/Node.js and Python. Hands-on experience with LLM structured tool calling, streaming SSE/WebSockets, and containerized code sandboxes. Focus on deterministic testing, observability traces, and graceful rate-limit recovery.
