Job Description
TurboBuild eliminates thirty-minute CI queues by running ephemeral Firecracker microVMs with content-addressable layer caching. We need a Lead DevOps and Build Acceleration Engineer to scale our runner fleet across AWS bare-metal instances.
Core Responsibilities You will maintain our Go runner autoscaler, optimize Zstandard artifact compression and NVMe snapshot cloning, and provision multi-account AWS infrastructure via Terraform. Your work cuts developer feedback loops from tens of minutes down to ninety seconds.
Requirements Six or more years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Build Infrastructure roles. Deep familiarity with Docker/OCI image internals, Linux namespaces, cgroups, and AWS EC2/S3. Experience with monorepo build systems (Bazel, Turborepo, or Nx) and GitHub Actions.
